These are the rules for using freearcade.games. They are written to be read rather than skipped, so they are short. Using the site means you accept them.
Last updated 23 August 2026.
Everything here is free to play, as much as you like, for as long as you like. There is no account and nothing to buy. You may download a game file, keep it, play it offline, and pass a copy to a friend for them to play.
Do not sell the games or charge anybody for access to them. Do not republish them on another site as your own, strip the branding out, or wrap them in your own adverts. Do not try to break, overload or interfere with the site or with anyone else's game, and do not point automated tools at it. The games, and the code, artwork, music and writing inside them, belong to the site owner.
Progress is a save code held on your own device. Nothing is uploaded and no copy is kept here. That means your save cannot be taken away from you, and it also means it cannot be recovered for you. Write your codes down. Clearing your browser data removes anything cached on your device, including a game you added to your home screen.
Live battles, and using a phone as a controller, connect two devices directly to each other through a public matchmaking service. Be sensible about who you give a room code to, and be decent to whoever is on the other end of it.
The site is paid for by adverts served through Google AdSense. They appear on the pages that describe the games and never on a page while a game is being played. What they collect, and how to turn the personalised kind off, is on the privacy page. Nothing advertised here is endorsed or checked by this site.
The games are provided as they are. One of them is openly a prototype. They may contain bugs, they may lose a save, and the site may be unavailable without warning. So far as the law allows, the site owner is not liable for any loss arising out of using the site or the games. Nothing here affects rights you have that cannot be signed away.
Games get updated, added and occasionally taken down. These terms may change too. The version on this page is the current one, and the date at the top says when it last moved.
Anything about these terms can go through the contact page.
